Testimonials

Bill: I just wanted to send you a note regarding your presentation.  That was one of the most interesting presentations I have seen in quite a while.  Thank you for your energy and information.  You have changed the way I will approach traveling for all of my future trips.  Thanks again! -- Scott V. Bowers, Account Manager, National and Alamo Corporate Sales

"Mr. Amaral's safety presentation to local chapters of the National Business Travel Association has not only been well received, but is one of the most requested programs on safety.  His interactive presentation provides the audience an opportunity to get involved and it keeps their attention!  I highly recommend it."  -- Sean McCurdy, Senior Director of Worldwide Sales, Choice Hotels International

"Bill Amaral takes a great approach in teaching safety.   His experience both with the airlines and working with corporate travelers lends him much education to share.   The interactive nature of his program, however fun and entertaining he makes it, is definitely an eye opener.  The folks at the Gateway Business Travel Association in St. Louis considered his program to be one of the best of the year.   Personally, I don't pack a bag or get on a plane where I don't think of the points he made in his program.   My own awareness has been heightened."  --  Amy Doepke, Orscheln Management Company

"Bill's program was so much more than we expected.  It was interactive, thought provoking and funny!  I would say that it broadened the attitudes of all my staff that attended and I'm sure they will become better travelers." -- Linda Heath, Corporate Travel Association of New York

"Bill, I attended the CTD Conference Dec 3-5 in SF and found your presentation fascinating, entertaining and unbelievably informative.   -- Jim Savarin, Manager of Corporate Travel Services, American Re-Insurance Company

"Bill, I attended your presentation at the IAAP 2002 Annual Educational Forum.  You were not scheduled to speak during the main event but were switched due to another speaker's absence.  Travel, I have to admit, was not a topic I wanted to hear.  I had not signed up for the seminar later that day.  Lets face it...most of the time travel is a pain.  I have to say your presentation was detailed and your approach a whole lot of fun!  I am sorry it took me this long to reach out and let you know how much you affected me personally.  When asked about the seminar dates, your story and details are the crowd favorite. I have pulled my notes out of my notebook and retold the story time and time again.  We recently went on vacation....and I unconsciously made quiet a few adjustments to the way I pack and travel.  Thank you, that information could save my life one day.  Dramatic? Maybe...but not really.  In light of the recent events, we need to change how we think and prepare for emergencies and especially during the time we travel.  I thought you may get a kick out of the executive assistant that didn't want to go but learned a lot!!  -- Candace Medina-DeMartini
Executive Assistant to Wayne Dewald and the Special Acquisition Services Group, Deloitte & Touche

Dear Bill:

The California ISO places a great emphasis on the safety and security of our employees.  Recent tragic events have created a reluctance and apprehension towards airline travel among the general population; the employees of the ISO are no exception.  Your presentation on the airline industry and travel safety in general could not have been any more timely or welcomed.

On behalf of the employees of the California ISO, I would like to thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule.  Your presentation, in the words of many ISO employees was, “exceptional and a real treat.”  The response to your presentation was overwhelming.  There are many employees who are already asking when you might return.  With such positive feedback, I can only believe that your well thought out and entertaining presentation has truly made a difference in the way our employees approach airline and travel safety.  Again, thank you for taking the time to make your presentation.  I can only hope that we are fortunate enough to have you out again some time in the future.

Terry M. Winter, President and CEO                  Greg Baughman, Safety Coordinator, California ISO

“I wanted to thank you for the presentation you did at the Central Florida BTA luncheon in Orlando.  It was very informative and you certainly know how to hold an audience's attention.  -- Michelle Bedow - Dynamic Healthcare Technologies, Inc.

“I have had the opportunity to see Bill Amaral’s safety presentation twice. In both instances, the presentation was highly topical as well as entertaining. Mr. Amaral addresses the subject of safety and security with the seasoned knowledge of a frequent traveler as well as a corporate travel manager. This presentation has never been more relevant than now. I urge anybody considering this program to check Mr. Amaral’s references. You will find that the quality of the presentation is well worth the time of even your most senior executives.”  -- D.J. Greenagel, Regional Vice President of Sales, Rocky Mountain Region, Navigant International

“The Safety and Security seminar presented by Bill Amaral to the Pittsburgh Business Travel Association was terrific.  It provided great information related to travel safety, even for the most seasoned traveler.  The exercise in airline evacuation was extremely insightful.  I would recommend this course to anyone who travels.”  -- Paul D. Lang - Manager, Travel Services  - Bayer Corporation

“Bill, I can say that your presentation on air safety is outstanding. You have a unique ability and expertise to make this subject informative and very entertaining. The involvement of the audience is extremely well done and everyone in our local chapter was pleased with what they learned. It is probably needed more now than ever before, with the challenges in the travel industry.”  -- Cal Smoot - Utah Business Travel Association

“I have participated in Bill's Safety and Security Class on two occasions and feel I have taken valuable information away each time.  I considered myself an extremely seasoned traveler, but found there were areas pertaining to my personal safety I had not even considered before Bill's class. The format is entertaining and very interactive, which I believe makes all the difference in absorbing and retaining new information.  I highly recommend the class!”  -- Diane Lovett

“Bill, thanks so much for such a great job.  As usual, you exceeded my expectations.  It never matters how seasoned your audience, you always have a fresh slant to bring to the table.  You made our day.” -- Judy Mercel - New York State Business Travel Association

Bill Mosier
State Training Center, Sacramento, CA 95814

Dear Mr. Mosier: Rarely am I moved to take the time to write a letter, but this time I will absolutely make an exception because I have just finished taking the Airline Safety Class presented by Bill Amaral and it was one of the best classes I've taken in my career, which spans almost 30 years. The information provided is timely, educational, fascinating, and invaluable, and Bill's presentation skills and sense of humor are superlative.  He grabs your attention from the beginning; he keeps your attention throughout.  Few things are more valuable in a trainer. There are thousands upon thousands of us State employees flying every day of every week -- and this class has so much to offer that EVERY traveling employee should take it just as we would take a drivers education class for the road.  It has the potential of preventing injury and saving lives -- that certainly beats anything you learn in any other training class!
